Well that was a first! We had a significant snowstorm for Korea (2nd one this winter) and we decided not to drive the car down icy hill to get out of our neighborhood so we walked the mile to school in the snow. And yes, it's uphill both ways 🤣🤣🤣

We also had 2 snow days and a delayed start today...

We had a great Saturday in Seoul. We run the train into Seoul to explore. We cannot wait to go again! Great city! Excited that we live so close and will have plenty of opportunities to explore.

Tonight we tried another meal kit, this one was Osaka-style Yakisoba. It was soba noodles with shrimp, bacon, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts and a delicious sauce. It was easy and delicious. So delicious I forgot to take a picture of our meal but it looked just like the package!

Red, orange, yellow, green right in a row! Love that we get to see leaves change color here! Also loving that we walked to a cafe for coffee, Daiso for some household items, and a local Korean grocery store for food all within a half mile from our house.

Found the most amazing cafe in Songtan @prefer_in_forest , less than 2 miles from where our house is! Amazing coffee , delicious pastries, and spectacular views!

Our pups made it!! They had the world tour. We used a pet shipper so they flew from Dallas to Frankfurt to Seoul.

We ventured farther out today. We took the train to Suwon to the Starfield Mall. This mall was amazing, it is absolutely massive, several cafes, a 4 story library right in the middle, a phenomenal garden deck, and it's pet friendly. We had a blast checking it all out and enjoyed some amazing pastries.

I've been working on learning Korean! I can recognize most of the letters! And I use Hello - 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo) and Thank You - 감사합니다 (gamsahabnida) frequently!! It's slow but it's a start.

We had fun checking out the Songtan 4/9 Market! It's a huge farmers market that has amazing produce, seafood and all kinds of things! We can't wait to have a kitchen and we can cook! Thankful for new friends who showed us the way!
